The Research Unit for Political Economy (R.U.P.E.), located in Mumbai (Bombay), India, is constituted under the People’s Research Trust, which is a registered public trust. The People’s Research Trust and R.U.P.E. run on voluntary labour and limited finances raised from personal contributions. They do not accept funding from the Government, the corporate sector, or foreign institutions. They are not affiliated to any other body.

As a result, we run on a shoestring budget. We solicit donations from those who agree with our aims. If you wish to make a donation, you may make a bank transfer to the following account:

Please note that donations to People’s Research Trust no longer enjoy exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Sales and Subscriptions

The subscription for four issues is Rs 160/- for India, $12 US for those abroad. Subscriptions are accepted for up to 8 issues at a time.
